All Along the Shores of Lake Greenwood

Details:
Connect Lake Greenwood is proud to introduce Patriotic Pier Days, a brand-new lake-wide celebration created in honor of America’s 250th anniversary and South Carolina’s SC250 initiatives.

From Carolina Day through Independence Week, Lake Greenwood will come alive with patriotic spirit as residents, businesses, marinas, restaurants, neighborhoods, and waterfront communities decorate docks, piers, boats, waterfront gathering spaces, and businesses in classic Americana style.

Our vision is simple:
To turn Lake Greenwood into a visually beautiful, community-driven patriotic destination celebrating America250, South Carolina heritage, tourism, and lake life.

Thank YOU to everyone who has joined in this celebration!

A Celebration Rooted in South Carolina History

Patriotic Pier Days officially begins on June 28 — Carolina Day, commemorating South Carolina’s historic 1776 victory at Sullivan’s Island during the American Revolution.

The event continues through Independence Week as Lake Greenwood celebrates America 250 together.
